What I really like about this book is just about everything. The setting and time period is classic regency. The hero, Lord Weston, does what I'd want my hero to do. He knows an awesome woman when he sees one and he's willing to fight for her. Not that she's a shrinking violet. Lily has spunk and determination as she tries to make a go of it with her family's florist shop, The Enchanted Florist. I really like her loyalty to her siblings and her dying father, and her courage in trying to keep the shop going while opening her heart to Lord Weston. Strong writing, characters, and plot that kept me reading. Loved it!Product details

First I read May William's "Landed by a Flyboy", then I found "Enchanted by a Lily" and I was definately not disappointed. In fact, I was "enchanted". I love a good romance and that is exactly what I got. A dashing hero, a strong heroine, and the fear that just maybe, they won't get together which, of course doesn't happen and....well...you'll have to read it. I'm looking forward to her next book.
The beautiful cover and title of this novel doesn't lie and I was enchanted by the story. 'Enchanted by a Lily' is lovingly detailed (love all the flower references) with terrific characters and a fresh story line that kept me wondering what was going to happen next. Lily is a heroine you really like and enjoy getting to know as she struggles to keep her family together and the family business going. Lord Weston as the hero appreciates Lily for who she is and goes against the 'rules' of society (kudos to Lord Weston's Mom, Lady Haverford, for doing the same and encouraging him). I had already read and enjoyed May William's "Landed by a Flyboy" so I had high hopes for this one and she came thru. Looking foward to her next novel.
